Cat Soup Video:
1. The animation was very very interesting to say the least. I can honestly say I have no idea what this film was about. There were various scenes and concepts in the film and it seemed a little random to me.
2. I liked in one part that the screen kind of "fell" apart and the characters were running and ended up in a different scene. It was a really cool transition! I like that some of the shapes in the film turned into others things. We kind of learned how to reshape a circle in different ways and I saw that illustrated in the film. Lastly, it was interesting to me that they made the bizarre seem completely normal. Like how the fish had no body and only skeleton, yet he was ale to swim away perfectly fine. So I guess my third strategy would just be thinking outside the box!
3. Overall, I'm not sure how I feel about the film. It was kind of weird to be honest! I was pretty confused as to what the point of the film was because the different scenes didn't really go together. However, I will say that the imagery was pretty good! I also thought it was awesome that they showed disasters happening in reverse like they had been undone. I really liked that aspect of the film a lot.
